Compassion

Jesus’ life was a perfect model of compassion ministry. Scripture teaches us that true worship is “To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” (Micah 6:8) We strive to be like Christ in all we do and a big part of that is loving each other and helping our brothers and sisters out when they are in need.

This ministry is encompassing anything that is related to hospitality as it relates to the care of members as well as the coordination of the church calendar and the planning of church events and activities. Opportunities to be involved in this ministry:

  • Compassion/Event Coordinator
  • Event Planning
  • Head of Kitchen
  • Kitchen/Dining Help
  • Congregation Care (planning meals for sick, injured, or recovering church members)
